How your Council works

The Aldermen are your elected members of Council who represent the community and make decisions on policy formulation, budgeting, the provision of services, work priorities and strategic planning for the Clarence community.

Council staff provide expertise and advice to the Aldermen and residents, are responsible for day to day operations and are committed to the implementation of the Council’s programs and policy decisions.

How you can get involved

Members of the public are welcome to attend a Council meeting.

Council has a number of Special Committees that include Council and community representatives. Contact Council on 03 6217 9500 for more information.
