Profile: Gateway Services

Gateway Services is a service offered by Mission Australia that links individuals and families with appropriate information and advice, brief intervention and referrals to relevant services.  Gateway Services is the single entry point to all family and disability services in each area of the State – South East, South West, North and North West.

How does your service operate? How does someone go about accessing your service?

Referrals to Gateway Services can be made by calling 1800 171 233 and speaking to one of our Intake Team.  Gateway is a voluntary service.

This could include referral to one or more of the following programs:

  • Local Area Coordination (LAC)
  • Integrated Family Support Service (IFSS)
  • Targeted Youth Support Service (TYSS)
  • Family Support for Grandparents and Relatives Raising Children.

Staff work collaboratively with individuals and families to ensure their needs are recognised and the appropriate service response is given.

If you could give one health and wellbeing tip, what would it be?

Looking after your general wellbeing is important, but it’s easy to overlook.  Never let your situation or circumstance prevent you from seeking assistance.

How can we improve health and wellbeing in our city?

We need to stand together with Australians in need until they can stand for themselves by building capacity, resilience, opportunity and strengthening communities.

Where is Gateway Services located and what are your contact details?

You can contact Gateway Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm on 1800 171 233 or call in and speak with one of our friendly team at Level 1, 10 Bayfield Street, Rosny Park.  You can also drop us a line at gateway@missionaustralia.com.au
