Tell us about Alma’s Activities Centre Clarence. What do you do?

We are a licensed club operated largely by volunteers and members that provides a variety of activities and programs for community members, including:

• Old style dance
• Ballroom
• New vogue and country music nights
• Indoor bowls
• Weekly bingo
• Monthly bus trips
• Sit and Be Fit Classes
• Tai Chi
• Children’s dance classes

Our Hall, Alma’s Bar and Lounge and Meeting Room are all available for hire.

How does someone go about accessing your services?

Our office is open Monday – Thursday 12noon – 4.00pm. During these hours come along and relax in Alma’s Bar and Lounge where you will be able to listen to music, watch the plasma TV or perhaps play a game of cards.

New members are most welcome and if you or a group have ideas for any activities contact the office on 6244 4264.

If you could give one health and wellbeing tip, what would it be?

Get involved and join in with new activities, it is good for mental and physical wellbeing and you get to meet new people.
