Join special guest artist and skill sharer, Coralee, for this workshop in Natural Dyeing and Pre-Mordanting

Participants will learn:

-Skills in natural dyeing AKA eco-dyeing.
-What fibers are best for natural dyeing and how to prepare them
-Which local plants and food waste is best and their colour potentials
-Pre-mordanting techniques to produce bright and long lasting colours on cellulose fibres.
-Japanese shibori technique
-How to care for naturally dyed and printed fabrics

Who is this workshop suitable for?

-Suitable for adult participants and young people aged 14 years and older.
-This is an inclusive and supportive workshop, no experience needed.
If you attended the previous workshop this one will build your knowledge of eco dyeing and pre-mordants.
