Find out how to number test your small business idea in an easy to follow and easy to understand process
In this 2-hour workshop you will learn and be guided as to find out if your idea is worth proceeding to business plan stage and if your concept could be turned into a potentially profitable business. You will learn about important aspects you should look at as part of doing your numbers and assessing the commercial feasibility of your business.
This includes:
• How to set your personal budget so you know how much you need to survive
• How to set a budget for your small business and do some sales forecasting
• What a break-even analysis is and why it is important to do one
• How to go about pricing strategies for your small business idea

Vaughan Smith, our presenter for the day, a former NEIS (New Enterprise Incentive Scheme) trainer and consultant with a background in finances, has helped countless small businesses to get to the next step in their small business journey. He knows how to break down the process of crunching the numbers in an easy to follow and non daunting fashion.

This workshop is presented by Business South, under the “Entrepreneurship Facilitator Program” which is an Australian Government funded initiative. This program is focusing on assisting mature age Australians, but it is open to anyone by providing them with free assistance to consider, plan and start their own business.
