A pop-up event on the Council Lawns to celebrate Council becoming part of the “Welcoming Cities” network. Come and celebrate the many benefits that a culturally diverse community brings to community life. Bring your smile and help make Clarence a welcoming and inclusive place to live, learn, work and play.

Harmony Week in Tasmania runs from 16 – 22 March.

National Harmony Day on 21 March is a day to celebrate Australia’s diversity. It is a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home – from the traditional owners of this land to those who have come from many countries around the world.

Harmony Day coincides with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
