Many young people in Tasmania need assistance maintaining their health and wellbeing. This may include needing advice, referrals, sex education or general medical issues resolved. The Clarence City Council takes this need very seriously and has its own funded youth health clinic called Youth Assist. Youth Assist is a free, confidential clinic for many health care needs. Youth workers and medical professionals are on site to provide support and aid to young people aged 12 – 24.
